I was not disappointed at all. This item has true value for the price and I'm certain it is more than adequate for it's primary application as a nursing pen. However, if a more durable product with a stronger magnet and pen option were available I would be very interested in purchasing at a premium price over this item. There are infinite applications for this beyond the hospital as a Nursing Pen.

At first I thought that it was a clip on but it comes out that its magnetic; if you don't pull on it very hard and are careful you probably can mange to keep it in place but when one is in a hurry with patient care and other things there is no way of not pulling hard on the pen so it ends up falling off. Also one time it fell all the way to the floor and the magnetic piece on the front came off so either take the time to fix it or throw it out.

After reading about this special anti-microbial wearable, retractable, magnetic pen, I knew I wanted to try it. Working as a nurse on a busy MS floor makes it easy to lose your pen, considering you are always doing something. At first when I received the pen, I was a little skeptical, but the sleek design,ease of use and convience of the pen makes me want to buy more. I have even been asked where I got it from! The nice thing about this pen is the magnet allows you to attach it to your scrub top and when you pull on the rectractable cord to use the pen, the pen releases. It is not like other pens that are always open and bleeding into your scrub tops. I have lost many good scrub tops because of this. I would recommend this pen for any nurse, cna or anyone out there that works in a high paced environment that requires multi tasking.
